Extension privacy policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

The Nativ Chrome extension connects your Nativ workspace to supported websites. It currently helps you view quotations and fill Nipendo RFQ responses. This policy explains the information it uses for that workflow.

Information used

The extension uses your selected Nativ workspace address, supported Nipendo page URLs and RFQ references, and quotation details returned by your workspace. Those details include quotation numbers and status, customer names, validity and currency, and line information such as part numbers, descriptions, revisions, quantities, prices, no-bid flags, and proposed delivery dates. A customer name may identify a person in some workspaces. The extension uses this information to find and display matching quotations, check the RFQ, and fill the form when you choose Apply.

Your existing Nativ sign-in

The extension uses your existing Nativ session. Chrome attaches the relevant session cookies to requests sent directly to your chosen workspace, where the Nativ app validates them. The extension does not read cookie values or store your password or session tokens.

Storage and retention

The extension stores your chosen workspace address and any address override in the local Chrome profile. It processes quotation information in memory for display and filling, without saving that information in its own persistent storage. Clearing extension data does not delete quotations in Nativ or records in Nipendo. Those services and their hosting systems may retain records and request logs under their applicable arrangements. Ask your workspace administrator about access, retention, or deletion of Nativ records, and consult Nipendo about its records.

Where information goes

The extension sends an RFQ reference to your configured Nativ workspace to find matching quotations, then receives quotation details directly from that workspace. When you choose Apply, it checks the active Nipendo RFQ and places matching quotation values into the Nipendo page. Those values then become accessible to Nipendo. The extension does not save or submit the response for you; review the form and use Nipendo’s own save or submission controls.

Purpose and limits

The extension uses information to provide the workflow described above. It has no analytics or advertising feature and does not keep a browsing-history log. Use and transfer of information obtained through the extension are limited to this workflow in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Security and your choices

Production requests to your Nativ workspace use HTTPS and require a valid Nativ session. You decide when to fill a procurement form. You can change your workspace in the extension’s options, sign out of Nativ, change the extension’s site access in Chrome, or disable or remove the extension. These actions do not remove data already held by Nativ or Nipendo.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the extension’s data handling changes. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
