All the work in one place, from quote request to delivery

Meital wrote sales quotations by hand and marked up drawings manually. With Nativ ERP™ they submit more customer quotations, drawings are marked up automatically, and all the work, email included, connects in one place.

The challenge: manual work that limited the business

At Meital Precision Machining, every customer quotation was written by hand. A single quotation could take half an hour, and there was not enough time to respond to every request. Each request left unanswered was work that never reached the factory.

Drawings were handled by hand too: the team circled and marked each characteristic for inspection, one at a time.

What changed

1. More customer quotations

Their customers’ supplier sites connect to Nativ automatically. Quote requests import straight into the system, the details fill in on their own, and the team reviews and completes them. Part files, such as the drawing, CAD model and part list, come in as one batch. Instead of writing each quotation from scratch, the team responds to every request.

2. Drawings marked up automatically

What used to be marked by hand now happens on its own. AI reads the drawing, balloons each characteristic and adds it to the list with its requirement, and the team checks the result. In the same way, a part list becomes a bill of materials in one click.

3. Email connected to the system

The Outlook mailbox connects to Nativ. Quotations, orders and delivery notes go out from the record itself, with a ready template and the document attached. Any email can be linked to its quotation, order or shipment, so everyone working on the record sees the conversation without searching.

4. From order to production

The customer order connects to the quotation before it, and from there to work orders. The manufacturing dashboard shows what was ordered, what is already allocated and what is still open.

5. Purchasing connected to production

Purchase orders follow work order requirements, including outside processes. Receipts and supplier CoCs stay on the same line, so it is always clear what arrived and what is missing.

6. Quality and documents without duplicate work

The characteristics marked on the drawing become the inspection plan. The results produce an AS9102 First Article Inspection Report, and Certificates of Conformance are issued with the shipment, with traceability to materials, suppliers and processes.

Everything connected

Information goes in once and carries through the whole way: from the quote request, through the drawing, production and purchasing, to delivery.
